What is SuiteAnalyzer?

SuiteAnalyzer is a desktop application that uses artificial intelligence to analyze financial and operational reports from NetSuite. It provides clear summaries, KPIs, financial ratios, trends, risks, and actionable insights—all with no setup, no exporting, and no extra NetSuite licenses.

How does it work?

SuiteAnalyzer takes your NetSuite report data and processes it through advanced AI models via the OpenAI API. The analysis is done in real time and displayed directly within the app.

Do I need an OpenAI subscription?

Yes. SuiteAnalyzer uses a bring-your-own-API-key model. This means you’ll need an OpenAI account with API access. You enter your own API key into the app, and OpenAI bills you directly based on your usage.

How do I get an OpenAI API key?

1. Go to https://platform.openai.com and sign up.
2. Add a payment method to your account.
3. Visit https://platform.openai.com/api-keys and create a new key.
4. Copy the key and paste it into SuiteAnalyzer under Settings > API Key.

Is my data secure?

Yes. Your NetSuite report data is sent securely and anonymously to OpenAI’s API for analysis. We do not store or transmit any of your financial data beyond what is needed for that specific request.

Is my data used to train OpenAI’s models?

No. OpenAI does not use API data to train its models. Your data is used only to generate responses and is not retained or reused by OpenAI.

What OpenAI model does SuiteAnalyzer use?

SuiteAnalyzer uses OpenAI's gpt-4o-mini, gpt-4o, and gpt-4.1 models - and it's entirely up to you as far as which one you want it to use.

What kinds of NetSuite reports can it analyze?

SuiteAnalyzer supports all standard NetSuite financial reports, including:

• Balance Sheets
• Trial Balances
• Cash Flow Statements
• and more...

SuiteAnalyzer is also capable of analyzing data returned by Saved Searches.

In addition, developers can configure their SuiteScript-based custom reports for analysis.

And finally, SuiteAnalyzer can analyze the results of queries that are run in the SuiteQL Query Tool - and can even make suggestions regarding SuiteQL queries.

Do I need any NetSuite customizations or roles?

No. SuiteAnalyzer works with the output of NetSuite reports. If you can run the report and copy or export it, you can analyze it in SuiteAnalyzer. No additional NetSuite licenses or permissions are required.

Which platforms are supported?

SuiteAnalyzer runs on both macOS and Windows.

Is SuiteAnalyzer affiliated with Oracle or NetSuite?

No. SuiteAnalyzer is an independent software product developed by SuiteStep, LLC / Tim Dietrich. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Oracle or NetSuite.
